    Step 1

Mix almond meal and powdered sugar together.

    Step 2

Slowly add the yogurt one tablespoon at a time, until it becomes a dough. (If you are not using right away, wrap into wax paper and put in an airtight container or plastic bag and refrigerate up to a week. When using, bring to room temperature. )

    Step 3

Pinch about a ½ tablespoon of dough. Shape into a ball. Pinch one end to make a roundish triangular shape. At the end of the triangle put a chocolate chip for the nose. On top put 2 chocolate chips on either side for the eyes and right on top 2 sliced almonds for the ears. On the end secure a piece of red licorice cut to make a tail.

    Step 4

These little creatures can be eaten right away or saved up to a week in an airtight container in the fridge. You can use them on your holiday cookie platter or on cakes.

    make it with yogurt instead!
