Herb Biscuits

A great accompaniment to any meal, these tasty biscuits can be made ahead of time and then brought along to the party.

Yields: 10 Biscuits


  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 3 t baking powder
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 4 T cold butter (cut into 1/2' cubes)
  • 1 c Stonyfield Organic Whole Milk Plain Yogurt
  • 1 t dill
  • 1/2 t thyme
  • 1/2 t oregano

    Step 1

    Preheat oven to 450°. Combine flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in medium sized bowl, or food processor.

    Step 2

    Cut or pulse butter into flour mixture until well incorporated. Stir in yogurt and herbs.

    Step 3

    Form dough into a ball. If it is too sticky add more flour a tablespoon at a time. Press into 3/4' thick rectangle. Cut into 2' rounds with glass or biscuit cutter. Place in rows on greased baking dish. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
