- 3 c whole wheat flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 c light brown sugar
- 6 oz Stonyfield Organic 0% Fat Smooth & Creamy Vanilla Yogurt
- 3/4 c light cherry pie filling
- 12 oz beer (or soda)
- 1 Tbsp butter (melted)
- white sugar (for sprinkling)

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside.
Step 2
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Step 3
Add the yogurt and cherry pie filling, and carefully combine with dry ingredients. Slowly add beer, and mix everything together. The batter should remain lumpy.
Step 4
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes. Leave oven on, but remove pan.
Step 5
Spread the melted butter over the top of the loaf and then sprinkle with sugar. Place back into oven and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until you insert a toothpick into the center and it comes out dry.
Step 6
Cool pan on wire rack and then remove bread from pan to continue cooling.
