Walnut Yogurt Truffles

These elegant truffles will make everyone think you spent a small fortune on handmade truffles. Only you will know that you made these beautiful confections using one bowl and you never turned on the stove!

    Ingredients


  • 2 c ground walnuts

  • 3/4 c powdered sugar

  • 2 T unsweet cocoa powder

  • 3 T Stonyfield Organic Greek Plain Nonfat Yogurt

  • 1/4 c sugar (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients making sure they are mixed with no clumps.

Step 2

Slowly mix in the yogurt one tablespoon at a time.

Step 3

With your hands or a flexible spatula mix well into a paste/dough; shape into small size balls.

Step 4

Roll into the sugar or any other kinds of sprinkles or colored sugar for a festive presentation.

Step 5

Transfer into candy cups/paper, box and refrigerate up to a week.

Step 6

Makes about 2 dozen truffles.
