Spicy Yogurt Chicken
White chicken meat is a good source of the trace mineral selenium, which increases natural killer cells and mobilizes cancer-fighting cells. These delicious, spicy chicken tenders could become your new chicken soup.
- 1 c Stonyfield Organic Fat Free Plain Yogurt
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 4 clv garlic (finely chopped)
- 1/4 t cayenne
- 2 T lime juice
- 1 T honey
- 1 T extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 t salt
- 3/4 t ground cumin
- 1/4 t cinnamon
- 1 t paprika
- 1 1/2 lb chicken tenders
In a large bowl, combine yogurt, onion, garlic, cayenne, lime juice, honey, oil, salt, cumin, paprika and cinnamon.
Add chicken and coat well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 12 hours.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place chicken tenders on top.
Bake chicken until golden brown, about 12-15 minutes.
