Edamole Dip

Enjoy this healthy dip as a snack or appetizer served with rice crackers (found in the ethic food section of your grocery store) or water crackers.

Yields: 2 Cups


  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
  • 4 T olive oil
  • 1 c Stonyfield Organic Greek Plain Nonfat Yogurt
  • 2 t hot pepper sauce (or to taste)
  • 1 t cumin
  • 1 1/2 c frozen shelled edamame (green soybeans, thawed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

    Step 1

    Place garlic cloves, chipotle pepper, olive oil, yogurt, hot sauce, and cumin into a blender or food processor.

    Step 2

    Purée until smooth, then add the edamame, and continue to purée until smooth.

    Step 3

    Season to taste with salt and pepper before serving.
