Ingredients

2call-purpose flour
14tspbaking soda
14coil
3tspbaking powder
1tspsalt
1cStonyfield Organic Low Fat Plain Yogurt

Directions

  1. Preheat over to 375°.

  2. In a bowl, sift together dry ingredients.

  3. Add oil and yogurt and mix well.

  4. Place dough on a board and knead until smooth.

  5. Roll out to an inch thickness and cut in to 12 round biscuits using a cookie cutter.

  6. Or make 12 round balls about 2 inches in diameter, place on a baking sheet and flatten.

  7. Place biscuits on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown on top.

  8. Serve hot.

Wow Turned out Great!!

These biscuits were so easy and delicious. I definitely recommend them! I made them with 1 cup of spelt flour and 1 cup of all purpose flour and I used whole milk yogurt instead of low fat, otherwise I used the recipe as written. Mmmm mmmm they turned out great!! Thanks for such a great recipe.

These were sooooo yummy & simple to make!!! My husband was even shocked by how great they tasted. Then I talked a skeptical friend into trying the recipe and she was shocked as well at how awesome they are. Bye bye buttermilk, hello yogurt biscuits!
