I consider myself an adult (for all intents and purposes) but when I see or hear the ice cream man coming down the street, or passing me on the road, I – Scream – Ice – Cream. The grocery store popsicles just aren’t the same thing – but I found a trick. Homemade Popsicles! It really is the easiest and simplest way for a guilt-free treat with instant gratification.
The instructions? Effortless. Fill up your popsicle molds with just about anything and add some yogurt for sweet, sweet perfection. These popsicle recipes are for the whole family, but at the bottom there’s a special “grown-up” addition for moms and dads.
Summertime Strawberry Pops
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. lime juice
2 Cups chopped strawberries (or blended)
1 Cup Stonyfield Vanilla Greek yogurt
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and carefully pour into popsicle molds.
Blueberry Bliss Pops
2 Cups fresh blueberries (blend for a less chunky version)
1 Cup Stonyfield Blueberry Greek yogurt
Add 2 oz. of white rum to your Summertime Strawberry Pops for a frozen Strawberry Daiquiri.
Add 2 oz. of blueberry vodka to your Blueberry Bliss Pops for a Mom or Dad “late night” snack.
