Inventiveness, spunk, passion, open-mindedness--what's your hidden strength?

If you've been visiting us here at the Strong Women Daily News the last few days, you may have taken our quiz to help you discover your hidden strength. Lifetime Magazine recently published this personality quiz. Since women's strength of all kinds is the focus of our up-coming Strong Women Saturday and Strong Women Summit events, we’d like to invite you to sample the quiz here. The results for the four sample questions are below. See the September 7 and September 3 entries for the original four quiz questions, or click through to the extended entry here.

KEY TO THE QUIZ
Question 1: a. 1 b. 3 c. 2 d. 4
Question 2: a. 2 b. 1 c. 4 d. 3
Question 3: a. 4 b. 1 c. 2 d. 3
Question 4: a. 3 b. 2 c. 4 d. 1

If you scored mostly 1s
your secret strength is
Inventiveness
You hope for the best, but plan for the worst, so when challenges arise (as they inevitably do), you’re able to shift gears smoothly. Your tendency to consider the negatives can be viewed as pessimistic, but imagining all possible outcomes prepares you for almost anything. That said, there is such a thing as being too realistic, so try to keep that habit in check.

If you scored mostly 2s
your secret strength is
Spunk
Some may call you stubborn, but sticking to your guns is a highly admirable trait. You dedicate yourself wholeheartedly to the people and causes that are most important to you. Maintaining a strong sense of self is a terrific thing, but be careful: You can learn a lot when you play by someone else’s rules every now and then.

If you scored mostly 3s
your secret strength is
Passion
You wear your heart on your sleeve—and your cuff and your collar. While others may have trouble with your volatile reactions, all that emotion is a big reason why you have so many close friends. Plus, leading with your heart often puts you on the path to adventure. Just know that at times it may be wise to tone it down. You don’t want those around you to always be walking on eggshells.

If you scored mostly 4s
your secret strength is
Open-mindedness
While sometimes it may seem as though you can’t make your own decisions, consulting others keeps you connected to your friends, and their advice and reactions help you understand the consequences of each course of action. One thing you should work on: trusting yourself. You too have your fair share of experiences to contribute. Don’t discount them.
