Ingredients

3cStonyfield Organic Low Fat Plain Yogurt (to yield 1 cup yogurt cheese*)
14clight brown sugar
2tbsporange liqueur
1tspvanilla
12tspcinnamon
2ptStrawberries (hulled and sliced)
2tbsppecans (toasted, for garnish)

Directions

  1. *For Yogurt Cheese: Using a yogurt cheese maker or layered cheese cloth, strain the whey from 3 cups of yogurt for 3-6 hours in the refrigerator. This should yield 1 cup of yogurt cheese.

  2. Clean, hull and slice strawberries and set aside.

  3. To make the sauce, combine yogurt cheese, brown sugar, orange liqueur, vanilla and cinnamon and let sit for one hour.

  4. To serve, layer sliced strawberries and sauce into wine glasses.

  5. Serve chilled.
