Orange Spice Cake

Ingredients

3cflour
1 12tspbaking powder
1tspbaking soda
14tspsalt
2tspground ginger
1tspcinnamon
18tbspunsalted butter (softened)
1 34csugar
5 eggs
1tspvanilla extract
1cStonyfield Organic Low Fat Plain Yogurt
12corange juice
  Confectioner's sugar for dusting

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°.

  2. Grease and flour a bundt cake pan.

  3. In a medium bowl, sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ginger and cinnamon together.

  4. In a large bowl, beat butter until creamy.

  5. Add sugar and beat until fluffy.

  6. Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each.

  7. Fold in orange juice and vanilla.

  8. Add the dry ingredients in 3 additions, alternating with the yogurt.

  9. Blend well.

  10. Spoon mixture in pan and bake until sides of cake pull away from pan, about 45-50 minutes.

  11. Cool in pan for 10 minutes then turn cake out onto cooling rack.

  12. Once cool dust with confectioner's sugar.
