Cannoli Cream with Rolled Wafers
A delicious Italian classic unshelled.
|2||c||Stonyfield Organic Low Fat Plain Greek Yogurt|
|1⁄2||c||whole milk ricotta cheese|
|1⁄4||c||mini chocolate chips|
|1||tbsp||pure almond extract|
|zest of 1 orange|
|rolled wafers of your choice (4 to 8, to serve on the side)|
|1||tsp||cinnamon powder (to garnish, optional)|
|1||tbsp||toasted almond slices (to garnish)|
In a bowl, gently fold yogurt, ricotta cheese, sugar, almond extract, orange zest and chocolate chips together.
Serve 1/4 cup of cannoli cream and garnish by dusting cinnamon powder, topping with toasted almond slices and rolled wafers on the side.
