Gotta Have Vanilla

A few years back, two colleagues thought we should quit the ice cream business. “Ridiculous,” I thought, but to humor them I proposed a blindfolded taste challenge against Häagen-Dazs and Ben & Jerry’s. If either taster preferred one of those brands over ours, I’d stop making ice cream. But if we won, they’d never raise the issue again. Well, we’re still churning out this delectable winner. -Gary
