Meet the team
The team currently consists of a cross-functional group representing Natural Resources, Purchasing, and Communications, and is expanding.
Activities
- Study completed in 2007 on sources of milk GHG emissions.
- Developed programs in each of the emission areas (on-farm energy use, manure methane, feed production emissions,enteric emissions).
- Stonyfield Greener Cow Project in 2008.
Sample of accomplishments & results
Pilot group achieved 12% enteric GHG emissions reductions.
