Franklin Family Farm
My nickname is "Marge the Barge." From the moment I was born, on September 1, 2007, I towered over the other calves. When I was in the calf pen, my farmers could always pick me out, because I was the one who always trotted to the front, eager to have someone rub the top of my head.
Our farm is truly a family farm. Everyone works together to keep all of us animals healthy and happy. In 2008, my farm family transitioned to the organic market. This was a terrific fit for their philosophy. It brought together their pride in family, cultivating healthy soils, using most of the resources available on the farm and producing the highest quality food.
If you ever come to Guilford, Vermont, stop by and visit our growing farm store, which is located in our old milk house. Our friends and neighbors love our maple syrup, farm fresh eggs, home grown meats, Zesty Blend Dressing and freshly bottled milk.
