Donegan Family Dairy
I like to think I'm special here on the Donegan Family Dairy, because I was part of the first group of Jersey heifers when the farm was new, back in May of 2006. Farmer Emily says I'm kind of perfect—easy going and easy to handle.
In fact, that's how I got my name. I'm usually happy, especially when people pet me. There's a particular spot I love to have scratched, right at the base of my tail, and if I knew how to purr, I would. Just give it a try!
I'm pretty proud of the fact that I've already given birth to 5 calves. On some other farms, that would be considered a lot, but for our healthy organic herd, that's just getting started!
