In 1983 Stonyfield began as a farming school in Wilton, NH that taught and supported sustainable farming practices. We were on a mission to make the planet healthier even before we were making yogurt! Today, we make it our mission to work toward health in all we do. Over these 28 years we have grown and changed, but Stonyfield’s mission remains the same. We continue our commitment to healthy food, healthy people, a healthy planet, and healthy business. Happy Birthday Stonyfield!
As I got older, and particularly became a parent, I became more in tune with what I was eating and feeding my children. It scared me the amount of chemicals, pesticides and additives that were put in our food. When cows were given growth hormones, I decided my kids would not drink milk that wasn’t organic and then followed suit with cheese, yogurt and other dairy products. I’m so sad that big business,with the help of the FDA, is putting our children at risk by allowing genetically-modified foods, HFCS, and basically, foods that aren’t even truly food anymore. Thank YOU for your commitment to doing things the right way — we continue to be loyal supporters.

I am more concerned about the welfare of the next generation and can see the differences when I eat healthy and exercise. I want to share this more. Also, growing older makes me more aware of how much good health can enhance the quality of life! Thanks for Stonyfield and their commitment to good health and deliciousness!

My health has definitely improved so much, even within the last year. I eat healthier because I have a gastrointestinal disease and believe I can treat it with a healthy lifestyle of the right food choices and by incorporating working out, yoga and meditation into my life.

Around the time Stonyfield started, I became pregnant with our first child. Good food and good health for all of us started with a commitment to our children. Our second child was born at home under the care of an experienced midwife. We eventually joined a natural foods cooperative and stayed with them for many years. Relatives were amazed that our kids preferred raw vegetables to highly processed snacks. Our kids are grown now, strong, active, and healthy, and definitely not the overweight couch potatoes we hear so much about. Eating right and staying active has also helped my husband and me look years younger than our true ages.

My commitment to eating CLEANER start 7 years ago. After years of stomach issues, I just started small with organic milk. Immediately, I felt better and my issues began to subside. Next change was all dairy products, then meat, and than fruits/veggies. After our first born arrived in 2007, we spent even more time looking at everything that comes in our home. We aren’t at a perfect, pure place yet. And honestly, I don’t know if we will ever get to perfection in all our meals, but I am thankful for companies like Stonyfield who make my life easier. As you increase your product selection, you make my life so much easier. One example: YoBaby and the regular Stonyfield (for me!) drinkable yogurt! Perfect for me as I am always on the go with my babies.

My commitment to eat healthier has grown considerably since seeing my Mom pass away from cancer. I try to do what I can to eat alot healthier.
My commitment to health grew considerably when I had my daughter. I want her to grow up healthy, eating right and active, and I also want to model a healthy lifestyle.
I’ve become a more informed consumer, rather than depending solely on packaging labels and what “works” for my friends. There’s always more to learn and room to grow though!
I used to eat anything in high school and since discovering clean eating through oxygen magazine I eat raw whole organic raw foods! I love it. Whole grains fruits vegetables and lean protein including egg whites Greek yogurt and almond milk. I look better and feel better with more energy! Stonyfield has great products to help me stay on track!!
My commitment and health has grown and changed alot over the years. I have a family now and realized that I can’t let them eat alot of junk food like i use to when i was younger. Junk food lacks nutrition. I have grown to add more fruit and veggies when i food shop. Especially more yogurt. My children love yogurt and that is all thanks for YoBaby Yogurt. I think that if i didn’t introduce them to yogurt young then they wouldn’t like it now. Now I get to start the process of introducing YoBaby yogurt with my 6 month old.
