Help us celebrate and win free yogurt…

In 1983 Stonyfield began as a farming school in Wilton, NH that taught and supported sustainable farming practices. We were on a mission to make the planet healthier even before we were making yogurt! Today, we make it our mission to work toward health in all we do. Over these 28 years we have grown and changed, but Stonyfield’s mission remains the same. We continue our commitment to healthy food, healthy people, a healthy planet, and healthy business. We thank all of you supporting us over the years and we look forward to the next 28 birthdays to come!

I eat healthy with Stonyfield Products.
Tasty and healthy for your body.
I was the typical fast food lover in college (even ate whole large pizzas in one sitting on several occasions!), but since moving to Denver I’ve embraced the produce aisle and the delicious grilled chicken salads it makes possible. And, yes, my fiancee has even turned me on to Greek yogurt. Happy birthday!
Gary and Meg…It was all worth it.
Happy Birthday to Stonyfield!
P.S. see my wife’s (Sue J.’s) comment
My mom and I had food allergies many years ago and a wonderful wholistic doctor helped us discover healthy alternatives to the typical American diet. I couldn’t even eat yogurt back then, but now that my allergies have been cured, I enjoy a balanced diet with plenty of whole foods, and make sure my dairy intake is organic whenever possible. Now I’ve turned my husband onto your yogurt and he loves many of the flavors, especially French Vanilla. I’ve been enjoying the nonfat Vanilla Fudge Swirl Frozen Yogurt immensely as a healthy treat since I became pregnant. I wish you all made a quart-size version of the Fro-Yo pints!
My commitment to health has changed so much over the last few years. I’ve gone from a fat, dairy, meat, & really food-hating girl to one who embraces all of those things as long as they are REAL like Stonyfield organic yogurts! Happy Birthday you guys!
My committment to health has Definitely Changed over the years…I am the mom of 6 children ages 5-17 and I grew up in a family who part of it was overweight…I took after that side..I also had a husband who was in the military and deployed frequently…I finally took charge of my life and health and thanks to Stoneyfield I have great products that I love and ENJOY and my children do too!!! we enjoy them daily and with a healthy lifestyle change and exercise I am taken off 52 lb. and kept it off and am teaching all of my children to live a healthy lifestyle…HAPPY BIRTHDAY we celebrate with you!!!!
Happy 28th birthday Stoniefield!! I love your products and I have complete trust in your products!!
Back in the 80′s, I used to volunteer at the farm in order to be able to learn as much about sustainability as I could. I worked on the bulldozer, and Samuel’s Subaru and got my first taste of everything from Permaculture, to Solar greenhouse construction. I am still commited to my green lifestyle, and do all I can to promote the same to all I meet, and come into contact with. I continue to learn, and love your products even down here in South Florida! Happy Birthday Stoneyfield Farms…I miss you!
My committment to my health changed 3 years ago when I finally beat a nasty addiction to smoking. I am now committed to helping others become smokefree. (Managing my weight as a result of my smokefree lifestyle has been an issue during the past three years. Thanks for helping me keep it in check. HAPPY B-DAY!)
Remember the early days of the farm well! My husband of 34 years tells folks, when asked where we lived in NH, that we lived not too far from the Stonyfield Farm in Wilton, NH! haha It is the first landmark he mentions, before he mentions Mt. Monadnock! LOL
We moved to NH in 1984 and I started to deliver the Monadnock Ledger for Ted Leach and then eventually the Keene Sentinel as well, so I could keep my girls from having to go to daycare. We lived in Dublin at the time. Even after we moved away from the North East, my family ALWAYS sought out Stonyfield Yogurt. We would tell everyone we met about it. It not only was the best tasting, but it was the only consistent REAL yogurt on the market I could find to use as decent starter when I made my own at home!
When we moved to PA in the early 90′s, we met many Mennonite families. I would turn the women on to Stonyfield for the “starter of choice” for their home-made yogurt as well.
Now that we live in ME, we frequent our new favorite place to eat in Falmouth! I bet you can guess where that is.
We started buying much more Stonyfield when our son started solids. Now, almost 18 months later, Stonyfield Whole Milk Yogurt is the only yogurt we buy for him. I love the rewards program, too!
My commitment to health started small with the decision not to use cosmetic products tested on animals. The next year, I stopped buying non-Eco-friendly cleaners. Now, I eat organic, I do vermicomposting, I have a “victory garden,” I support environmental legislation and programs. I make my own baby food, except that my 15-month old gets YoBaby Yogurt…you’d think I was giving him a million dollars too, he gets so excited about it! It’s amazing how each small step can lead to even more. And it’s so important to support sustainable businesses however we can!
Since my husband read an article on all the bad additives that are in our food, we started making the switch to organics. Now we are almost entirely organic, I buy foods from our local co-op, they provide local organic produce. I love the fact that I’m giving my family fresh foods that are hormone, pesticide, additive free. I love the Stoneyfield products. My husband loves the organic vanilla yogurt and ice cream! I love the yogurts! Thanks for making so many great products that will keep my family healthier for the future!
My commitment to health has changed over the years in many ways. When I was a teen my Mother was my source of health information. And then as I got older, met my husband and got married I started to find out things for myself. Reading tons of books and looking up information on line. Then after our first child was born 9 1/2 yrs ago I felt the need to be as informed as possible. Knowing his health was in my hands. And now that we have 3 children and Im due at the end of next month with number 4 I feel so obligated to the very best I can to be as knowledgeable as I possibility can. This whole process is a journey and a never ending learning process. It is one I love and I see the results in myself, my husband and our children.
I became much more committed to healthy eating as a way to restore health after contracting Lyme disease from a tick bite in 2006. I am very pleased to say that Stony Field has played a key role in my recovery. Thanks for doing what you’re doing and helping my family be more healthy.
Happy Birthday!
I have become a lot more committed to eating organic products as much possible in the past five years due to the birth of my two children. I have attempted as much as possible to limit there in take of antibiotics and hormones from dairy products and meats. This year we have taken it a step farther and are trying a little bit of our own organic gardening! I want what is best for my children and I feel organic is certainly the way to go to achieve it.
We have been working for years to eat healthily, and yogurt is a big part of the process. We also plant our own garden, and belong to a CSA.
We feel good about feeding our kids all natural, home cooked food.
Happy Birthday, Stonyfield – keep up the *great* work!!
Barbara
My one year old and I love all your products! I won’t give her any other brand! Happy 28th birthday!
My one year old and I love all your products! Happy 28th birthday!
our initial venture into organics was due to a child with a lot of allergies…but as we researched and learned more, we knew we had to keep going. stoneyfield has been a constant!! we now buy as much organic as we can, we support our local farmers, we make most all of our cleaning supplies, we buy our meat in bulk, and we have happy, healthy kids with much less issues from allergies!
My son is 3 years old. We knew that when he began eating solid food that we wanted them to be healthy foods. I made all of his baby food. Once we discovered Stonyfield products we were fans. In ensuring that our son ate healthy, we began eating healthy foods as well. The food we eat now is much different than 3 years ago. We eat more whole grains and organic foods and Stonyfield fits perfectly into our new lifestyle! Thank you!
My commitment to health has changed drastically over the years. While in high school I used to get by eating cookies for lunch and in college Mountain Dew was a staple. Once we started thinking about having a family, everything changed. It was an eye opener to see the recommended food chart for a healthy pregnancy. I was hardly eating anything and drinking even less. I forced myself to look at everything I ate and drank. I started eating more healthy foods and drinking more water. Two babies later, now our children are eating and drinking healthy things as well. Feeding a picky three year old isn’t always easy, but we do the best we can and try to instill healthy choices in our children. Happy birthday Stonyfield, and thank you for making a healthy choice an easy one for our family.
My commitment to health has grown over the years by actively searching for information regarding my health. The more I learn the more committed I am becoming. The turning point for me to commit to my health was when I started to think of how I want to give my children the best health possible. I started to realize that I need to show my children how to be healthy by being healthy myself. I am a research scientist so learning about the nitty gritty of waht it means to be “healthy” was like a fun science project. What I learned is as science finds more and more about your health the more scientists are supporting the theory of eating like your ancestors and everything in moderation. The philosophy of Stonyfield, crazy I know.
Happy Birthday keep it up.
So many things have changed in my life since 1983. I have begun eating better and preparing better food for my family. We all are working to be more aware of how our bodies function and how best to give them the nutrition they need. Stonyfield yogurt is a big part of that. We eat it plain or with granola, use it in shakes, and make parfaits. Just love it in all ways! Thanks for the great products. Looking forward to another 28 years!
Being a new wife, I’d say my commitment to health has changed a lot over the past year! This past year I have really taken eating healthy and sustainable seriously. I’ve converted almost all food products in our house to organic. I’m also really interested in where our food comes from, which is why I love the farmers’ market so much! I know that it takes effort to cook from scratch, but I know it’s best for me and my husband. I want us to have long, happy lives together! I also want to have the best start when we decide to have kids!
I went from avoiding HFCS & PHFs to learning more about healthy eating. Then I turned to all organic food. And now I’m eating more traditional foods, making more things myself and trying to eat more local foods to lessen my impact. Once you start down the health path there is always more things to learn!
Growing up, my parents never used salt in anything, so I have that going for me, but learning to be healthy? This is new in the past year or so for me, in the “really changing lifestyle” manner.
I feel better when I eat healthy, and honestly have a lot more energy and a lot less issues.
I buy almost all organic nowadays, including locally grown meats and eggs that have no hormones added. To me, the added expense is worth it with the health benefits down the road.
Since I had my 20 month old, I’ve been focusing on eating foods that are better for me. We now eat more veggies and fruits and try to eat the best for our daughter. We also are eating at home more often.
We love your amazing products!Happy 28th Birthday
Our commitment to health has only grown over the years. In the beginning, it was hard, but now it’s paying off. I believe that the hard work we are putting into, will ensure a long, healthy life for us. HAPPY BDAY!
