We love baseball here at Stonyfield, but realize that sometimes eating organic, healthy food at the ballpark is a bit of a challenge. We’re working hard to make it easier and that’s why we’re excited to announce that this summer, you can enjoy Stonyfield while watching the games at both Citi Field and Yankee Stadium!
We’re serving up Oikos and Stonyfield at Yankee Stadium all summer long to help you root, root, root for the home team. And over at Citi Field, home of the Mets, you can find Stonyfield in lots of places. Take a break from the 7th Inning Stretch–or the heat–to grab a Stonyfield or Oikos yogurt in the World’s Fare Market. Split a quart of our organic Stonyfield frozen yogurt with your baseball date or treat your family to a frozen yogurt novelty bar. Or, if you’re lucky enough to be watching the action from the suites, try a parfait packed with organic Stonyfield goodness!
Bringing organic food to sports enthusiasts is something we are proud to do, and we think seeing organic selections beside the ballpark franks is something worth celebrating.
“And how will we celebrate?”, you ask. With you, of course! Stonyfield will be at Citi Field when the Mets host the Phillies on Sunday, July 17th and we can’t think of anyone we’d rather share a Sunday afternoon at the ballpark with than our organic eating fans!
We’re sponsoring the Mr. Met Dash and supporting kids as they head out onto the field after the game to run the bases with Mr. Met and our own mascot, Gurt. We’ll be fueling the kids with YoKids squeezers, Frisbees, and high-fives. But don’t worry, we’re here to take you out to the ball game too: we’ve got five pairs of tickets to give away to some lucky fans.
Let us know what you love about baseball in the comments field below and we’ll randomly draw five of you to win one pair of tickets and one week’s worth of free yogurt. Enter by noon on Friday, July 8th to be entered. (Tell your friends too.)
Find complete rules here (must live in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut to be eligible to win).
What do you love most about America’s pastime?

Even though it is now July 9, I am just seeing this contest for the first time and I just had to write what I love about baseball. I love the Mets so much, I have since I was a child and my parents used to take me to the games. I love rooting for my Mets in person with all the rest of the fans; it gives me such joy to cheer for them and see them -hopefully- win that particular game.
Biggest Met Fan out Of Beckenham South East England!! Lets Go Mets!
I love that its something social. Sports are social. You bring a friend to a game or go with family. The history behind baseball is really amazing and its very much an important part of America. Its also just fun to watch and root for a team. I haven’t really been to many baseball games in person and I think it’d be great to take my dad and go because hes been mentioning about wanting to go to one this summer.
Thanks for the cool contest!
The sight of green grass, the taste of hot dogs, and the feeling that you never have to grow up!
I love the quality time with my family and the excitment of being at Citi Field. Plus we are big Mets Fans
I love the snacks!
I love my husband’s enthusiasm for the game. My hubby is a pretty quiet guy, but when he watches baseball, there’s lots of shouting and cheering. Like “Go Mets!”
I love that baseball turns my husband into a kid again. He shares that enthusiasm with our daughter who at almost 4 years old, tells us she “runs fast like Jose Reyes”.
the tradition of going yearly to a game, sitting outside with thousands of fans, watching our national sport
I love that my mom’s a big fan and I would take her if I won
