
There is a lot going on around Stonyfield to buzz about this week, and a whole lot to love. For us, the end of August brings the start of something new: a new space for conversation; a new way to get healthy food options; and a new opportunity to celebrate the flavors you favor. Everywhere I look – on site or online – there is something to get excited about.
As the Official Yogurt Sponsor of the US Open Tennis Championships, we’re bringing something inspiring and fresh to the event this year—healthy, organic food. We’re serving up healthy food options at the Stonyfield Café in the Food Village and offering an alternative to the usual suspect foods found at sporting events. Instead of chicken wings, you can enjoy a naturally raised chicken sandwich while watching the matches. Rather than burgers and fries, you can have an organic salad with a side of organic flatbread. You can even take a break from the heat with my favorite, organic frozen yogurt.
We’re serving up food you can feel good about, so when you’re watching some of the world’s fittest athletes dart back and forth on the court, you have even more to cheer about. The US Open tagline may be “It Must Be Love,” but this year, I think we could also say, “It Must Be Organic.”
You don’t have to be sitting in the stands at Flushing Meadows either, to get fired up about the fusion of tennis and organics.
