So my naturally sweet friends, how would you use $100 to treat your sweetheart to a naturally sweet Valentine’s Day?

I would buy my wife some flowers, and take her to a quiet restaurant, where we can have some quality “alone” time. A nice restaurant, where we won’t feel rushed!
My husband and I enjoy dining at home, so I would use the $100 to buy ingredients to make a very special meal. I would grill the best steaks I could find, with potatoes and maybe asparagus on the side. For desert, I’d make either a cheesecake or a flan, because those are his favorites. An exceptional bottle of wine completes a fantastic meal!
After dinner, we’d watch a movie, and I’ve already put aside “The Big Year” for a laugh that evening! This sounds like the perfect evening for us. Plus, we’ll go to bed early. =)
Our Valentines Day this year will actually be celebrated on Valentines Day. In the past 17 years my husband has always had to work. And as a “restaurant manager” it is pretty close to the busiest day of the year.(Mother’s Day is 1st) And, this year he is on vacation!! It is just a “Stay-Cation” & It wasn’t planned for him to be off on Valentines Day he just is. I say it must be the heavens above looking out for us? And allowing us to have a turn to go out with all the other couples celebrating! Especially since, the last 17yrs we would just pick the closest day off from work either before or after Valentines Day & make that our special Valentines Day. We always were a bit jealous of the other couples getting the day off or night to share it together. This year I am gonna wear a sexy little dress & go out with the man I love! The Melting Pot is a great fondue restaurant. Where we can talk, enjoy a glass of bubbly, hold hands & maybe sneak in a few kisses here & there, all in a low lighting atmosphere, listening to soft music. After dinner & drinks, we may take a stroll around the the local shops or go on a horse drawn carriage ride under the stars. (we always miss out on that since they dont have it annually, only on special holidays or events) Afterwards, we will go home, watch a movie with our daughter & we all can share some chocolates together & exchange cards & gifts too. Anything after that will all be an extra bonus.
I love to spend Valentines Day with my 2 Sweeties, my husband and daughter. It doesn’t matter what we do as long as we’re together as a family!
We will both make cards and write out our sweet thoughts towards one another and probably have dinner at home. Thanks for a great giveaway.
My family will be eating dinner at home but we will be sure to have chocolate covered strawberries for dessert!
Id use it to treat my husband to sushi – his favorite and my.. least favorite
My husband and I would go to a really terrific organic, locavore restaurant not too far from here and enjoy each other’s company as well as wonderful and healthy food.
I would take my husband out for a special date night.
I’d support our local winery, and buy some nice bottles of their wine to share.
My wife had shoulder surgery, and she just got her sling off! I’d take us to Consuelos, her favorite Mexican restaurant.
I would take my kids (now adults) out for a family dinner
Buy some lobster for a romantic sit down dinner at home.
I’d take my husband to his favorite steak house.
I gave my guy a magazine subscription related to his current hobby. Useful and recyclable!
I love baking a decadent dessert to share with my husband and boys.
I would take my wonderful husband to the steakhouse. Every year on Valentine’s Day we always go to the steak house. This will be our 6th year going together to the steak house. The we come back home and we share a big heart box of chocolates together and we sit near the fireplace and watch a romantic movie together. After the movie we then exchange gifts. We have done this together for 6 years now and it’s become a special tradition for us both.
We would use the $100 to sweeten up our neighborhood. My husband makes delicious homemade fudge. We’d whip up several batches, use our heart cookie cutter, wrap them up and deliver some love!
I happened to be looking for a place to compliment you on your Spinach-Stuffed Mushrooms when I came across this contest…they were so good…a little work and worth the effort…really quite tasty. Seeing how Valentine’s Day is a Tuesday Night…I think I will try another dish from your list…one with a little sweetness.
We will have a special dinner at home!

The night before Valentine’s Day we would go to our local Strawberry Farm and pick out fresh strawberries and fruit. Then we would drive over to the beach (we live in FL!) and just after midnight we would share the first minutes of Valentine’s Day together while eating our strawberries as the moon hits the water. We could stay there as the sun rises on the morning of Valentine’s Day. What better way to spend the day, than sharing those first few moments at a place where we’d enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of nature together?
My husband and I will spend the evening with our son, who’s getting Elmo bandaids and a card for his Valentine gift!
I will take my husband to his favorite steak house for a nice relaxing dinner.
I will take my husband out for a nice dinner at his favorite steak house.
My husband loves pizza and since he has had the flu this past week I plan on taking him out for pizza, which might not sound romantic but it will be a special treat as we seldom indulge in pizza. Of course once we get home there will be a large chocolate cake with Stonyfield frozen yogurt to finish off the meal!
I have a somewhat quiet evening at home, with the grandchildren, so others can have a romantic Valentine’s Day.
My husband and I will celebrate Valentine’s Day with another couple and go out for a nice dinner keeping up our tradition each year with good friends. Then back at our house I will have fixed my favorite Stonyfield ice cream pie made with my very special Gotta Have Java Frozen Yogurt with homemade chocolate fudge topping and a nice crust and real whipped cream and some chocolate shavings on top.
My husband and I will probably celebrate with an extra-nice dinner at home, maybe with a bottle of wine, and then go out together the weekend after Valentine’s Day. It’s just too crowded on Valentine’s night, and the restaurants’ “specials” aren’t very good.
I have 3 sweethearts! So I would get my 2 little girls a special cake from our local bakery, then take my hubby out for a massage! He is amazing and deserves some stress relief!
