I am a physician, blogger, wife, and mother to beautiful baby boy. I have always had a love for children and a fascination for medicine. I started as a volunteer working at local hospitals, then in high school I joined the disaster service organization Long Beach Search and Rescue and during college I worked as a nanny. I have a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of California Irvine and a Doctorate of Osteopathy from Touro University in California. I completed two years of pediatric residency at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and I currently practice at a pediatric office in Southern California. Now that I am a mother I understand better than ever the challenges faced by new parents.
During my pregnancy I started the website DrMommyRx.com with the purpose to give parents a physician's perspective on raising children. It is my goal to expand the DrMommyRx website to include a broad range of topics for parents to be able to turn to when they have a question.
