Personally, I just look for a dress that makes me happy- an example would be the dress of 2012 that had so much tulle on the bottom that I was called everything from Cinderella to an 80s diva. It made me feel fancy and that’s how I wanted to enter the New Year. This year, I decided that in addition to finding a fancy dress, I’ll add a new tradition and make a delicious green smoothie to give me a healthy boost before ringing in another year.

Maybe you stay home, maybe you travel to be with family, or maybe you’re watching the ball drop from Times Square, but you can make this smoothie with just a couple ingredients. So go ahead, whip it up to take with you this morning, because this smoothie is one thing about 2014 you won’t regret.

Go Green Smoothie

Ingredients

1 cup frozen mango

½ cup orange juice

1 cup kale, shredded

1 apple, cored and cut up

½ an avocado, cut up

¼ cup Stonyfield Plain Smooth and Creamy yogurt

1 cup ice

Step 1: Blend all ingredients together until smooth

Step 2: Fancy dress or not, you drink this healthy elixir pinky out, my friend.
