New flavor expands frozen dessert line of products
Londonderry, NH—April 14, 2010—Spring is in the air, but Stonyfield Farm is sure to inspire a longing for the lazy days of summer by introducing Strawberry-licious to its line up of premium organic ice creams and frozen yogurts.
Stonyfield Farm is rolling out its latest frozen flavor, Strawberry-licious, offering ice cream and frozen yogurt lovers a little taste of summer made with pure organic strawberries.
“Longer days and warmer weather in New England can cause us all to daydream of summertime,” said Gary Hirshberg, President and “CE-Yo” of Stonyfield Farm. “Our new Strawberry-licious frozen treats remind me of pick-your-own strawberry fields on a hot summer day, and makes me think that maybe summer isn’t too far away.”
Like all Stonyfield products, Strawberry-licious ice cream and fat-free frozen yogurt are certified organic: free of ingredients made with toxic pesticides, synthetic growth hormones, antibiotics, or artificial ingredients like chemically derived sweeteners, artificial coloring, or modified starches. The frozen yogurt, available in fat-free, contains six live active cultures that enhance digestive and immune health. All Stonyfield ice creams and frozen yogurts are certified kosher.
Stonyfield Farm Strawberry-licious ice cream and fat-free frozen yogurt pints are currently available in freezers in natural food markets and select grocery stores. Suggested retail price is $3.99 per pint. Strawberry-licious, joins ice cream and frozen yogurt flavors such as Vanilla Chai, Cookies ‘n Cream, Crème Caramel, and After Dark Chocolate.
