Carbon nation: A Climate Change Movie About So Much More

Another documentary about climate change? Yes, but this one's different. Not the usual doom and gloom fare, the film Carbon Nation offers a refreshing spin on this timely subject with a look at solutions, with stories of hope and change. Carbon Nation is home to a myriad of exciting and determined individuals-from those you already know like Richard Branson, Van Jones and Thomas Friedman to those you'll meet here like a cotton farmer from Texas and a former director of the CIA. Each of these folks share with us what they are doing to make a difference, and look past the problem to the solutions at hand. The bottom line of this film is that even if you don't believe in climate change, solutions to the problem also address social, economic or national security issues.

Stonyfield Farm chose to partner with Carbon Nation and to appear in the film because a large part of our mission is to protect and restore the planet. We believe that every person can be a climate activist, and that being green can also mean being profitable.  We need to make changes now so that future generations can enjoy clean air, water and soil. This movie offers us hope that this is not only possible, but utterly achievable.
