I finally learned where our hay comes from at feeding time. This is my first winter in the milking herd and I have stall front space to see how my farms get our hay. Up above the milking barn is the haymow. There are holes in the ceiling by the edge of the wall that allow my farmers to climb up or down from the mow without going outside. READ MORE

On November 20th I calved with a beautiful heifer calf. My farmers named her Tippen. This was my third heifer or female calf out of the eleven calves I have birthed. Now a days it’s not uncommon on farms for a cow to last only 2 or 3 lactations. READ MORE
