Who would have thought a tornado in Vermont? On July 18th a tornado touched down in Cambridge, VT flattening 20 acres of forest and splintering a barn to pieces. READ MORE

At the Paul-Lin Dairy in Vermont, near the Canadian border, there are 30 registered, pure-bred Jersey cows and 30 young stock, but no tractors or other mechanical farming equipment.

The pastures are riddled with clover. I love clover. We’ve had so much rain this summer it’s no wonder they’re growing so well. Every three days we might see a glimpse of sun, and then it’s more rain. READ MORE
