Climate Change Solutions on Campus
We’re helping NWF spread the word because we think higher education has a big part to play in the fight against global warming. Colleges and universities are responsible for considerable energy consumption in the US, so they can directly reduce a big portion of the nation’s greenhouse gas emissions. Schools can also teach students to help curb climate change wherever these future leaders may later live and work. And research schools can develop and improve technologies we’ll need to stop global warming. College campuses are all about new ideas, and that's certainly the case when it comes to fighting global warming. Visit the Chill Out pages to see which schools are best in class!
